§ I. Who we are
Tau Media is a DBA of C2 Operations LLC (“Tau Media,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). We are an affiliate publishing company. We buy paid media on TikTok, Meta, and Snapchat using our own capital and earn solely through affiliate partnerships with brands whose offers we promote.
We are not a marketing agency and do not provide marketing services to consumers. This policy explains what limited information we collect in the ordinary course of our publishing activity and how we handle it.
§ II. Information we collect
Information you provide
If you contact us — for example, by emailing partners@taumedia.com — we receive your email address and any information you choose to include in your message.
Information collected automatically
Our website uses minimal automatic collection. Your browser transmits standard request information such as IP address, user agent string, referrer, and timestamps. We do not set analytics cookies on this site.
Information collected through advertising
When we run advertising campaigns on TikTok, Meta, and Snapchat, those platforms and our advertising partners collect information under their own privacy policies. This may include pseudonymous identifiers (advertising IDs, cookies, pixels), device and browser attributes, and conversion events.
§ III. How we use it
- To respond to partnership and business inquiries.
- To measure campaign performance and attribute conversions to affiliate partners.
- To optimize creative and targeting in future campaigns.
- To detect, prevent, and investigate fraud or abuse.
- To comply with applicable legal obligations.
§ IV. Sharing & partners
We share limited information with the following categories of parties:
- Affiliate networks and brand partners — to enable conversion tracking, attribution, and payment reconciliation.
- Advertising platforms — TikTok, Meta, and Snapchat, which operate the ad inventory we purchase.
- Service providers — hosting, email, analytics, and accounting vendors bound by appropriate contractual terms.
- Legal and safety — where required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.
We do not sell personal information in the traditional sense of the term. We participate in the digital advertising ecosystem, which some state laws define broadly to include sharing identifiers with advertising platforms. Residents of those jurisdictions may opt out as described in § VI.

Our work takes place primarily on three platforms. Each operates under its own privacy policy, and we encourage you to review them:

§ VI. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port information we hold about you; to opt out of certain sharing; and to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, email partners@taumedia.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.”
You may also opt out of personalized advertising directly through each platform's settings and through industry tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info) and the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org).
§ VII. Retention
We retain information only as long as necessary to support the purposes described in this policy, to comply with legal and tax obligations, or to resolve disputes. Campaign performance data is retained in aggregated or pseudonymized form to inform future optimization.
§ VIII. Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above when we do. Material changes will be communicated through this page.
